Repairs are not included in the subscription: each repair is priced upfront from the published rates and carried out only after approval and payment.

Small repairs up to 200 riyals before VAT (230 riyals incl. VAT) are done during the same visit if the pre-approval option is chosen in the contract and quotation.

What landlords worry about

What concerns you about your rented property, and how Mawadda handles it

A unit that wears down from one lease to the next

Preventive maintenance at a visit every quarter protects the rented unit from wear caused by use, so it comes back to you at the end of the lease in its original condition.

Disputes at move-out

Photos of the unit's condition and each visit's report are kept with their dates, protecting your rights in a dispute.

Who pays for what

After each visit, each party is invoiced for the items it is responsible for, so your tenant's items are not charged to you.

Your property's condition from a distance

After every visit you receive a photo-documented report, so you know your unit's condition without having to go there.

For owners and tenants

With Mawadda throughout the lease

One photo-documented record that protects both the owner and the tenant, from the start of the lease to its end.

  1. Start of the lease

A documented condition from the first visit

When the subscription starts with the lease, the first visit records the unit's condition in photos.

  2. During the lease

    Regular care for the unit

    • Four visits a year
    • Faults found early
    • A photo report after every visit
    • Each party invoiced only for its own items
  3. End of the lease

Handed back in its original condition

The unit goes back in its original condition to the new tenant or the owner, with a documented record of its condition.

Mawadda is not a party to the lease and does not rule between its parties; it provides the documented record.

Common questions

Questions landlords ask

What does the subscription give me during a lease and at its end?

Preventive maintenance throughout the lease that protects the unit from wear, and dated photos and reports of its condition that protect your rights in a dispute. Mawadda is not a party to the lease and does not rule between its parties.

Who pays for repairs, me or the tenant?

After each visit, each party is invoiced only for the items it is responsible for, and every item has a set price from the published rates.

How are repairs approved?

Each repair is priced upfront and carried out only after your approval and payment. Small repairs up to 200 riyals before VAT (230 riyals incl. VAT) are done at the same visit if the pre-approval option is chosen in the contract and quotation.

What if an urgent fault happens between visits?

The periodic visit is not an emergency service. An urgent fault at home has a separate paid special visit, which you can request on 0530545436. If lives are at risk, call the relevant authorities immediately.

A property management office manages my property. Does the price change?

No. You pay the same published prices, and the referral commission the office receives from us is disclosed to you.
